Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer / Training Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards/Work Methods, and training curricula and materials for the Supply Chain department. This role requires expertise in instructional design and the ability to create engaging and effective training solutions.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $37-$43/hr W-2
Travel Requirements: Overnight travel may be required to support various regions; travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a wide range of operating procedures and training modalities.
- Design and administer training products and services to support compliance and customer training needs, enabling the achievement of company and business unit goals.
- Create or revise training products and services in line with approved processes and directives.
- Identify issues, communicate status to supervisors/project managers, and develop action plans to address and monitor these issues.
- Ensure adherence to established service metrics and performance measurement tools.
- Act as a project resource for internal or vendor training projects, providing status updates as per approved work management processes.
- Conduct comprehensive training needs and tasks analysis to solve training problems, reviewing data, situations, guidelines, precedents, and company trends.
- Deliver responsive, high-quality, and cost-effective products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of experience in instructional design, project management, development of operating procedures, and training.
- Experience in building blended learning curriculums for both craft and non-craft employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and extensive PowerPoint experience.
- Experience with Authoring Tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), Learning Management Systems (e.g., Cornerstone), SCORM compliant architecture, and other instructional development tools.
- Formal training in adult learning/instructional design.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead others through change.
- Ability to facilitate groups and possess strong presentation/public speaking skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in a corporate learning function is a plus.
- Experience in supply chain training development is a plus.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
