Position Overview
The VP of Operations will oversee the company's operational processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of manufacturing and production. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of quality and adherence to industry regulations, particularly in aerospace and military sectors, while driving innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as ASTM, AS9100, and NADCAP.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Manage the entire production process within manufacturing.
- Oversee supply chain management, including procurement, inventory, and logistics.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality.
- Analyze operational metrics and implement data-driven solutions to improve performance and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the aerospace, military, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience with quality standards such as ASTM, AS9100, and NADCAP.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
