About the Role
The Store Development Project Manager will work closely with our French store design team and US retail teams to ensure proper execution and communication regarding all aspects of new store construction projects, renovations, and other projects related to Zadig & Voltaire in North America. The PM will also manage outside consultants and vendors to ensure quality finishes and budget goals, administrative coordination between external vendors and finance, internal coordination, and regular communication, including project updates.
Responsibilities
STORE DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full ownership of smaller design projects: new outlets, existing store remodels, and concessions
- Assisting design consultants on new stores and concepts, keeping the DNA of our brand at the forefront
- Work directly with the Paris team to show materials and finishes for new projects to the executive US teams
- Manage the execution of store build-outs, making sure they are on time and budget
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
- Coordination with contractors, suppliers, and vendors for each build-out
- Assist in bidding, qualifying, negotiating, and awarding of contractor bids
- Cost tracking of the project, including review and approval of all project invoices
- Prepare project contact list
- Gather close-out documents from contractors to submit to the landlord for TA
NEW STORE OPENING
- Manage new store opening coordination internally with cross-departmental weekly meetings
- Prepare packages for stores after opening, which includes construction and maintenance information on their stores
- Assisting the External PMs on each job to manage the store buildout and schedules
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field
Required Skills
- Sketchup / AutoCAD (3D modeling software)
- Proficient in Adobe Suite
- Construction and Design Project Management experience
- Ability to read construction drawings
Preferred Skills
2-3 Years Operations, Store Development or PM experience
