We are searching for a data scientist with both strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience with deep learning algorithms and models. Our team, “Pricing and Product Analytics,” uses AI techniques to support actuarial/underwriting organization to improve Aetna’s Health Insurance Pricing business. Our purpose is to solve complex healthcare cost issues using the latest technologies and data science innovations to provide the most fair and commensurate healthcare services. This position requires deep hands-on experience on building AI/ML and analytics models. Responsibilities: Participates in the development, validation and delivery of ML/DL algorithms and reporting tools. Owns, maintains, and enhances existing predictive solutions and models. Performs analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses. Collaborates with business partners to understand their problems and goals and be able to translate business requirements into predictive models, statistical analysis, and/or data reports.
