Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a QA Analyst/Tester, who will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and execute test plans that verify the functionality and performance of our products
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web applications and systems to ensure quality and functionality
- Develop and execute detailed test cases, plans, and scripts
- Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps
- Conduct thorough negative testing to ensure systems behave correctly under unexpected conditions
- Work closely with development teams to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements
- Provide timely feedback and reports on test results
- Ensure web applications meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance and accessibility standards
- Collaborate with team members to improve testing processes and ensure high-quality delivery
Required skills:
- 4+ years of experience in manual testing
- Experience with Azure DevOps or other test management tools
- Ability to write clear and concise test documentation (test cases, plans, and bug reports)
- Experience with negative testing to identify system vulnerabilities and failure points
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with accessibility (ADA) compliance or accessibility testing is a plus
- Knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, etc.) is a plus
