Role Description
For now this is a part-time (Tuesday - Thursday with occasional extra hours) on-site role for a Photography Studio Assistant based in New York, NY. The Photography Studio Assistant will handle day-to-day tasks such as assisting during photo shoots, maintaining studio equipment, helping with post production and supporting general tasks to ensure smooth studio operations. The role requires close coordination with photographers and clients to deliver high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Reliability. We need you to be on time(15 minutes early) before the start time, every time.
- Friendly and personable. We work in close quarters with our clients and need to set the tone of a space where they will feel relaxed.
- Basic Photography skills and an understanding of digital imaging processes
- Research skills for staying up-to-date with photography trends and techniques
- Willingness to learn. We have been doing this for a long time, there are a lot of little things to pick up along the way!
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a photography studio environment is a plus
