As the Fulfillment Supervisor, you will lead our newly established fulfillment team, leveraging Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimize processes, set performance targets, and drive operational excellence. Your role is key to improving efficiency, accuracy, and productivity while proactively addressing and resolving operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize processes and ensure seamless operations in fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Oversee the daily operations of the fulfillment center, ensuring that products are packed and shipped according to customer requirements using mobile scanners, tablets, and desktop computers.
- Lead the daily operations of the fulfillment center, ensuring efficient product packing, shipping, and receiving in accordance with customer requirements.
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and streamline workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide training and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to perform effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account management, customer service, and sales, to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, including addressing trouble totes, shipment issues, and inventory discrepancies.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions to improve fulfillment accuracy and productivity.
- Foster continuous improvement by evaluating processes, identifying areas for optimization, and introducing innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of leadership experience in fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Proven experience in managing a team of up to 15 team members.
- Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational processes for picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Skilled in using various equipment and technologies, such as tablets, desktop computers, and pallet jacks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges.
- Data-driven with the ability to analyze performance metrics, generate reports, and make informed decisions.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in setting up and launching new warehouses is a plus.
