Description:
Safra National Bank is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for the following primary functions: (1) Oversee the inventory of third party legal agreements housed in the Bank’s vendor management system, including additions, expirations, renewals; (2) Ensure vendors are engaged who provide the most value to the organization after comparisons with alternate vendors; (3) Provide management level reporting of legal agreements, expense allocations by category of product and service; (4) Review the existing use of vendor services to determine cost saving opportunities, (5) Negotiate renewals / new contracts with vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a subject matter expert in applying industry best practices for the procurement of products and services.
• Oversee vendor related expenses, including comparing payments made against contracts terms. • Research market sources and vendors to locate and ensure the most cost effective and competitive pricing for the purchase of supplies and services.
• Perform deep dive reviews into vendor related expenses to assess potential efficiency gains and cost savings.
• Utilize best practices to analyze large data sets to identify themes and trends for further review.
• Partner with key stakeholders, including Risk Management, Finance, Legal.
• Develop and conduct procurement training.
• Maintain the integrity of the Bank’s contract inventory through oversight, controls and attention to detail.
• Produce high quality reporting to clearly convey insights to senior management utilizing best practices in data visualization and highlighting key messages.
Qualifications and Competencies:
• 7+ years Procurement experience.
• A proven history of managing vendors, contracts, expenses. • Ability to take a high level of responsibility in a high-volume environment.
• Motivated to constantly focus on process improvement and identify opportunities to assist colleagues and add value to the organization.
• Advanced written skills which embody professionalism and enable recipients to clearly understand the topics and messages being communicated.
• A passion for understanding and using technology to improve efficiencies, solve business problems and reduce manual processes.
• Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities.
• Highly skilled with Excel, Power Query, PowerPoint and ‘Storytelling with Data’.
• Excels at building relationships, networking and influencing others.
• Demonstrates curiosity.
• Knowledge of vendor services required to support core banking products and Broker / Dealer activities is preferred
