Job Description
Seeking a motivated Sr. Financial Analyst for a highly visible position within a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for:
- Creating forecast model of SG&A for the corporate office, monitor actual spending and explain variances.
- Perform Accounting and Financial Closing activities monthly and yearly.
- Reporting and understanding resources of the corporate office and consolidate systematically the NA Region (including Networking Capital, Free cash flow, CAPEX and Head count)
- Present financial results including month end results, forecasts, and business plan to regional leadership.
- Develop sustainable tools for analysis of different KPIs to aid Audits and reconciliations.
- Focus on continuous business process improvements, challenge current processes and procedures to determine if improvements are a potential, and consequently implement process improvements.
- Be a partner to the corporate office and an advisor to the leadership.
The position is located in Farmington Hills, Mi, with target line to Controlling Manager and working closely with Leadership team, and Plants in Charleston, SC, and Mexico.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and independent critical business thinker with experience in the manufacturing industry, highly analytical, process improvement oriented, and demonstrates the drive, people skills and business partner ability to deliver results within a global and diverse business.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 5+ years commercial and/or controlling experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Desired
- Bachelor’s degree in business / finance related areas or Mathematics
- 5+ years’ experience in finance / commercial areas of within Manufacturing industries.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Functionally proficient in SAP, Essbase, and Microsoft Office applications.
- FP&A experience preferred.
