Work closely with Leadership for Budget/Forecast, prepare reports, manage headcount for the portfolio Work closely with the Product Managers, Engineering Managers to establish and/or contribute to the product roadmap. Initiate or translate the product road map into manageable product features in the backlog through release / iteration planning sessions. Provide thought leadership development, structure, technology, and tools. Work hands-on with the product team to prioritize, plan, and deliver the product. Lead all agile ceremonies and product discussions.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years with progressive responsibilities in IT and Agile Processes
Must be able to think and act strategically, without constraints, but be able to operationalize Strong demonstrated competencies in leading all agile ceremonies (Daily Stand Ups, Iteration Planning, Release Planning, Backlog Grooming, Team Retros etc.) Strong communication, collaborative, and influencing skills Proven ability to work closely with software engineers, product managers, product owners and other stakeholders Strong personal presence to be able to represent technical concerns in Product Line prioritization Lead online meetings effectively by taking inputs from all participants Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach others. Demonstrated ability to drive development with a customer centric approach while engaging in the technical design. Experience with Lean methodology, eXtreme Programming & Domain Driven Design Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive full stack development Experience defining product vision, strategy, product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and product owners by effectively utilizing online tools such as slack, WebEx teams and other communication channels Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment
Skills: Required:
- Prepare and process purchase orders for team resources while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
- Track and reconcile purchase orders with invoices, maintaining accurate records and resolving vendor discrepancies.
- Create and distribute regular financial and operational reports to stakeholders including budget utilization, project progress, and team performance
- Prepare executive summaries highlighting financial trends, risks, and opportunities
- Monitor team composition and utilization across projects Collaborate with HR to manage hiring processes for new team members
- Forecast staffing needs based on product roadmap and upcoming initiatives
- Maintain documentation of team roles, responsibilities, and allocated project time Develop and maintain annual budget for product development activities while tracking actual spending against projections.
- Create financial forecasts aligned with product roadmap priorities and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Coordinates and facilitates the team’s flow load, working within and across teams to align work and capacity.
- Facilitates conversations to achieve user story completion, while ensuring customer acceptance criteria is actionable.
- Works with cross-product teams to identify and orchestrate dependency resolution.
- Understand business, technical, security priorities and technical feasibility to build the product backlog and manage risks.
- Ensures the backlog is populated with enough prioritized user stories that are ready to be estimated for the next two iterations.
- Closely work with product managers / leads of the upstream and downstream systems to align on any new feature / enhancement / system improvements and prioritization.
Education: Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field Master’s degree desirable
