DACUT Dispensary is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Cannabis Assistant Store Manager. As the Assistant General Manager, you will collaborate with the General Manager to lead the dispensary's retail activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, sales performance, and effective management of the retail space and staff.
Qualifications:
- Organized and professional with the ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Collaborative and outgoing, working seamlessly with the General Manager and various departments
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide your team to success
- Effective communication skills to engage staff members and customers
- Experience in Retail Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Compliance, or Purchasing
Responsibilities:
- Coach and guide staff to achieve excellence in sales and customer service
- Foster a culture of teamwork by aligning priorities and providing clear direction
- Lead and inspire internal staff to deliver top-notch customer experiences
- Assist in receiving deliveries accurately in compliance with company standards and regulations
- Participate in nightly cash audits and manage change orders
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to drive performance
- Oversee employee scheduling and attendance
- Manage employee training and review processes according to SOPs
- Conduct inventory audits to ensure compliance and prevent diversion
- Maintain records for necessary documents and reports
- Maintain effective communication with corporate staff
- Undertake additional duties as directed by upper management
Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience with PO/Cash Handling systems
- Experience withMETRC, Dutchie, Canva, and Microsoft 365
- Basic knowledge of cannabis and its effects on the endocannabinoid system
Requirements:
- Must be 21+ years old
- Metrc Experience (2 years preferred)
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Previous cannabis industry experience
- Preferred managerial experience in the cannabis industry
- Retail experience is a plus
- Full-time availability (45- 55hours per week, flexible schedule)
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Comfortable engaging with the public
- Pass a background check
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs

- 12-hour shift
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekly day range: Every weekend, Monday to Friday, Weekend availability
Compensation: 40-50k
