Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support cross-functional projects within our health plan operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel, and a strong ability to manage timelines, coordinate teams, and keep projects on track. You’ll play a key role in supporting initiatives across areas such as provider data, data management, member services, claims, and quality improvement.
Primary Responsibilities - Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects across multiple health plan functions.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines using project management tools, especially MS Project.
- Coordinate and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, take detailed minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, risk logs, and status updates.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements, align expectations, and communicate progress.
- Monitor compliance and regulatory deadlines to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Develop and deliver professional presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Excel for internal and leadership review.
- Identify, track, and escalate project risks or issues that could impact timelines or outcomes.
Education and Experience - Proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
- 2+ years of project coordination or related experience, preferably in healthcare or health insurance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solver mindset.
- Familiarity with healthcare operations or regulatory environments is a plus.
