Role
We are seeking an experienced
Operations Manager to oversee the team, 100+ individuals, responsible for processing tax payments and documents received, ensuring accuracy, timely deposits, data capture, and efficient operations.
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve operational objectives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Supervise personnel, manage production schedules, coach team members, and resolve customer issues.
- Optimize the allocation of resources to support the highly transactional environment involving mail handling, document processing, and check scanning.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy of the lockbox process
- Collaborate with peers to support workflow between departments to deliver on service level agreements
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
- Communicate with stake holders about company priorities and objectives
- Hire, train, and integrate new employees into the team
- Ensure adherence to regulations and internal procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in a professional leadership role; preferably of a large team
- Energetic with the ability to move at a fast pace to maintain workflow
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and ability to navigate software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant experience in payment collection processing or similar role
