Our client, a global specialist in digital automation and energy management, is actively looking for a Logistics Specialist to join their team in Nashville, TN! This role is mostly onsite and will require around 25% of travel so local candidates are required.
***This is a 9 month initial contract position***
This Logistics Specialist will be repsonsible for managing logistics & industrial flow processes for a circulatory highway project, ensuring efficient and effective movement of materials and products.
Responsibilities
- Describe and organize logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management / updates.
- Different types of flows that are foreseen:
- Internal to a plant, including light product modification and signaling (stickers? QR codes?) and inventory updates
- Between plants, including transportation and financial flow
- Between plant and external service provider
- Between customer and internal or between customer and external service provider
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong background in logistics and supply chain management
- Experience working with SAP
- Experience with circularity or sustainability projects is a plus
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to navigate through uncertainties and frequent changes
