POSITION SUMMARY:
The Global Inventory and Logistics Manager will oversee and enhance the inventory and logistics management processes across the organization. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate inventory analysis and reporting. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between logistics, inventory, and business operations, while also managing international logistics operations, carrier relationships, and customs clearance processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and optimize inventory demand, ensuring that levels align with enterprise sales forecasts and business objectives.
- Coordinate the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring that products are delivered on time, cost-effectively, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage third-party logistics (3PL) vendors, ensuring timely and accurate product setups, adherence to SOPs and SLAs, and completion of cycle counts.
- Manage carrier performance, negotiate rates & resolve issues related to shipping & delivery delays.
- Lead and manage logistics-related projects, from planning to execution. This includes creating business requirements, project timelines, identifying risks, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Lead and implement improvements to inventory management and logistics operations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive process improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain Management, Product Management, and Order Management to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain daily records for shipments, invoices, and inventory levels, identifying product shortages and replenishment needs.
- Coordinate and manage international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and import/export laws, including tracking shipments, handling customs clearance issues, and managing required documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, tariff classifications and HS codes). Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate timely clearance, stay updated on global customs laws, tariffs, and tax regulations, and ensure accurate calculation of duties and taxes to minimize financial impact.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI) including the expansion into new geographies, product lines, and services, including related logistics and inventory processes.
Experience/Training Requirements - Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory, and logistics management, with experience managing international logistics and customs processes.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of inventory and order management processes within the ERP system, preferably NetSuite. This includes tracking shipment records, purchase orders, incoming receipts, and ensuring accurate inventory records. This also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in inventory management, logistics, and production flow principles.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including leadership of cross-functional teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in using data analysis tools and performance metrics.
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Experience in financial and business acumen.
- Ability to make decisions independently while managing multiple priorities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Salesforce, NetSuite, Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with industry-standard logistics and inventory management software.

Compensation Package Includes:
- Base Salary $90,000- $130,000 + eligible for annual bonus + company equity
