Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Description
To arrange and monitor ocean bookings, drayage and domestic freight shipments, rates, appointments, documentation and other office duties and special projects as designed.
Required Qualifications
· 4-year degree from accredited institution
· Bilingual, English & Spanish
· 2 years of professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
· Prior experience in international and/or domestic logistics
· Strong organizational skills
· Detail-oriented and efficient
· Strong ability to multitask with speed and accuracy
· Individual who is adaptable to changing assignments and priorities
· Exhibits initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Effective customer service skills and follow through
Job Duties
· Set up & monitor transportation for domestic & international orders
· File documentation for exportation
· Work and communicate with suppliers, customers, transportation companies & sales staff
· Send, receive, file and monitor freight rates
· Problem-solve in a high-volume atmosphere
· General office duties and special projects as assigned
