Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled UX Developer to join our team in San Jose, CA or Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about user-centered design and have hands-on experience developing modern, responsive, and accessible web interfaces. Prior experience at Cisco Systems Inc. is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to translate design concepts into responsive, interactive user interfaces
- Build, test, and refine UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks
- Ensure usability, accessibility, and performance of web applications
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on feasibility and implementation
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services
- Maintain design consistency and follow brand guidelines across all digital assets
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues across platforms and devices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional front-end or UX development experience
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles
- Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred:
- Previous experience at Cisco Systems Inc.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Understanding of design systems and component-based architecture
