Summary
Great Lakes is looking for a skilled Project Assistant to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing roofing and siding projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Your contribution will be essential to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare project documentation including contracts, budgets, and reports for stakeholders.
- Manage project risks by identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and service delivery.
- Lead project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with commercial roofing knowledge
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients and team members.
- Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction software tools for project management is a plus.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
