Robotics Software Engineer
Onsite in Chatsworth, CA (can support relocation)
$140-170k base salary
I’m currently partnered with an exciting Robotics & AI company who operate heavily within the 3D printing space as they are looking to hire an experienced Robotics Software Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly-growing organization who are close to closing their Series C funding.
The focus of the Robotics Software Engineer role will be to develop Python/C++/ROS solutions for the industrial robotic arms & systems that form sheet metal parts for their clients (mainly consisting of aerospace and automotive clients). You will work with other Engineers to implement modern robotics methods on industry platforms and contribute to the integration of sensors/tooling as well as defining requirements to put together industrial robotic systems.
Key skills & experience:
- It’s crucial that this individual has 3D scanning experience and a strong software engineering background to support in solving their current scanning challenges
- Expert in C++ & Python
- Experience with robot Kinematics and Dymanics
- Experience with robotic software for controls, motion planning, sensor integration and simulation
- Experience with ROS2
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or similar)
This role will be working onsite in Chatsworth, CA – the company can provide relocation support for those not in a commutable distance.
