Overview
Seeking a hands-on IT Executive to lead strategy and operations in a mid-sized, growth-oriented environment. Ideal candidates will have private equity or family-owned company experience, a strong problem-solving mindset, and a background in both manufacturing and real estate. Spanish language skills are highly preferred to manage and communicate with a junior-level international team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor an international team (10–15 members), fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Digital Transformation: Drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, user experience, and business growth.
- IT Operations Oversight: Ensure robust infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data management practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to prioritize technology initiatives that deliver business value.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain IT governance and security standards in line with industry requirements.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Oversee IT budgets, vendor relationships, and investments, ensuring cost-effective performance.
- Roadmap Execution: Manage system upgrades, integrations, and technology implementations.
- Policy & Procedure: Develop and enforce IT policies to guarantee security, reliability, and efficiency.
- Security & Risk Management: Implement cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery plans to protect data and systems.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in executive leadership roles.
- Proven track record in mid-sized or privately owned companies (startup experience a plus).
- Spanish communication skills (written and spoken) strongly preferred.
- History of stable employment (3+ consecutive years in previous roles).
- Expertise in real estate and manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and ERP systems.
- High integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information.
