Basic Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of DoD policy relating Supply Chain, Property and Inventory (e.g., DOD 4100.39, 4140.01, 4160.21, 4160.28, 5000.64, 8320.04, etc.). General knowledge of governing Military Service supply chain regulations, policies, procedures, instructions and associated logistic support systems, i.e., Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), FEDLOG, Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), H2 Federal Supply Classification (FSC), H6 Item Name Directory, Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps / Army (GCSS-MC and GCSS-A), etc. Comprehensive understanding of interoperability between DOD services supply chain data management. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds unassisted. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance, travel CONUS/OCONUS and have a valid driver's license.

Job Description
You will be a Logistics Expert for our team, providing expertise to support USSOCOM Director of Logistics and internal/external customers, including Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (SOF AT&L), Service Components, and Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCS). Our team is responsible for performing property management activities and providing logistics support to ensure the success of our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Logistics Expert, you will be responsible for performing property management activities, including receiving, posting, issue, disposal, and other life cycle sustainment activities. You will work closely with our team to provide logistics support and ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with DoD and SOCOM Logistics policy.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Perform property management activities, including receiving, posting, issue, disposal, and other life cycle sustainment activities
- Conduct asset visibility, excess equipment management, and enterprise cataloging
- Perform data cleanse, analysis, reconciliation, and stock record maintenance in the assigned Accountability Property System of Records (APSR)
- Perform DODAAC and UIC management support within logistics systems
- Compose and prepare various logistic-related correspondences
- Solve identification issues using critical thinking, experience, and causative research skills
- Prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations to senior management
- Assist in the development of DoD and SOCOM Logistics policy, update directives and policy documents
- Identify problems, create solutions, and provide alternative courses of action
- Provide recommendations and develop improvement strategies on existing processes
- Ensure performance metrics and customer requirements are met

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $66,100 - $116,495. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
