Role: Associate Scientist II

Summary:
We are looking for an Associate Scientist to join our Materials Science team. You will support testing and analysis of materials used in medical devices. This role involves working in a lab, running tests, analyzing data, and helping project teams with product development and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Perform materials testing and analysis using lab equipment.
- Support scientists and engineers with product development and failure investigations.
- Keep accurate records and write reports following company and regulatory standards.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
Skills:
Experience with some or all of the following:
Surface Analysis:
- Microscopy, SEM/EDS, FIB, Confocal Microscopy
Spectroscopy:
Thermal Analysis:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of hands-on lab experience in materials testing.
- Good communication skills – written and verbal.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
