The Role
Reporting to the North America (NA) Director of Client Services, this position follows a hybrid work model and is largely a strategic client-facing role. Employees are expected to be on-site in New York City (either in-office or at client sites) three days per week; the specific in-office days may be adjusted based on client/team needs.
In this role, along with managing a team of analysts, you will be instrumental in driving company growth by understanding client needs, building strong relationships, and delivering high-quality quantitative and qualitative research. Your insights will shape clients' creative and media strategies, helping them optimize their advertising impact.
Research is primarily quantitative, with some qualitative elements:
- Designing experiments to isolate and measure incremental impact of advertisements.
- Writing and commissioning surveys to gather meaningful consumer insights.
- Managing survey recruitment and assessing data quality to ensure representative, reliable samples.
- Applying statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing.
- Adapting the methodology for early-stage concept testing, including storyboards, messages, manifestos, and unfinished assets.
- Conducting consumer sentiment analysis using social insight tools, NLP, and open-ended survey responses.
Your research will directly inform creative development, media planning, and campaign optimization for our marketing clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing materials, and participating in pitches.
- Understand client needs by meeting with them, defining research objectives, and commissioning structured research projects.
- Select and recommend research tools and methodologies, securing buy-in from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage research execution to ensure high-quality deliverables that provide deeper insights beyond the client’s initial request.
- Deliver strategic recommendations that influence future marketing and creative decisions.
- Communicate findings effectively through clear, well-structured reports and compelling data visualizations.
- Ensure quality control as an Account Manager by taking responsibility for team outputs, conducting spot-checks, and enforcing best practices across teams and regions.
- Champion continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements, technology upgrades, and best practices to enhance the impact of Client Services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an analytically driven marketing role with direct client responsibility.
- A degree in a field that demonstrates strong communication and analytical skills (e.g., applied quantitative fields, social sciences, psychology, or communication).
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth by pitching to new clients and expanding existing accounts.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with a natural curiosity about new people, companies, industries, and technologies.
- Confident presenter who enjoys delivering research findings in a clear, compelling way. Able to distill complex data into meaningful insights that resonate with clients.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to identify key business questions, design effective surveys, analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring team members, and/or leading research projects from planning to execution.

Package
- Fixed salary of $120,000 per annum benchmarked against industry standard
