Community Manager - Los Angeles Area
DIME Beauty is looking for an innovative, creative, and community-obsessed Community Manager to lead our social presence and deepen the emotional connection with our growing audience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is excited to dream up big ideas and bring them to life across social platforms.
You’ll play a pivotal role in building and nurturing our online community, growing our brand visibility, and strengthening customer loyalty through thoughtful content, real-time engagement, and strategic campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Content Execution
- Lead and evolve DIME’s organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
- Plan and execute daily posts that align with our brand voice and values, using a mix of original, curated, and user-generated content
- Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Coordinator on content ideation, execution, and calendar management
- Stay ahead of trends and continuously pitch fresh, creative ways to bring our products and purpose to life on social
Community Engagement & Growth
- Cultivate a loyal, highly engaged community by sparking conversations and responding authentically to comments, DMs, and brand mentions
- Oversee the DIME Community Facebook Group, ensuring it’s a vibrant space that aligns with brand values and provides insightful feedback loops
- Develop and manage community-driven initiatives such as giveaways, product feedback forums, and loyalty spotlights
Brand Storytelling & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with Creative, Performance Marketing, Influencer, and Customer Service teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across all touchpoints
- Contribute ideas to influencer and ambassador campaigns to help extend community reach and amplify UGC
- Align content themes with overall marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor and report on social media performance and engagement metrics regularly, offering insights and optimization strategies
- Identify trends, feedback, and sentiment that can guide product development, content refinement, and brand direction
- Suggest and test new features or tools to grow our audience and deepen engagement
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in social media and/or community management, ideally in the skincare, beauty, or wellness space
- A strong strategic thinker with the ability to execute at both a high level and in the day-to-day details
- Passionate about community building and making people feel seen, heard, and valued
- Strong understanding of how to tailor content across platforms (TikTok vs. IG vs. Facebook, etc.)
- Highly collaborative with excellent communication and project management skills
- Confident working with metrics and data, with a knack for turning insights into action
- Comfortable with ambiguity and resourceful in a fast-paced startup environment
- Bonus points if you're confident on camera or have experience directing short-form video content
