The position
As General Manager North America (m/f/d), you will be responsible for creating a business strategy and a plan to restructure the company.
- The focus is identifying growth opportunities in sales, building new customer relationships (business development), and strengthening and expanding the team.
- You will have overall responsibility for P&L in North America.
- You will manage the development and implementation of a growth strategy.
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with essential sales partners / key accounts.
- You will lead and motivate a small team, gradually expanding to include additional sales colleagues.
- Reporting to the head office in Germany rounds off your tasks.
Your Profile
- You have a degree in business administration, ideally with an MBA or comparable education.
- You can look back on several years of sales experience in the technical retail sector (hardware stores).
- You have a proven track record of strategic sales growth and experience in leading and motivating high-performing teams.
- Your entrepreneurial drive and hands-on mentality enable you to work strategically and operationally.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and flexibility in dealing with different groups of people round off your profile.
