Job Title: Fertigation Technician

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Fertigation Technician to join our cultivation team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining optimal plant health and maximizing yield through the precise preparation and delivery of nutrients and irrigation schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience in cannabis cultivation or
horticulture and a strong understanding of nutrient mixing, irrigation systems, and environmental controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver nutrient solutions based on feeding schedules provided by the
- cultivation leadership team
- Operate and monitor automated and manual fertigation systems to ensure consistent
- and accurate dosing
- Calibrate pH and EC meters and perform regular checks to ensure correct nutrient
- strength and balance
- Monitor plant response to feedings and environmental conditions, reporting abnormalities to the Head Grower
- Maintain fertigation records, logs, and equipment maintenance schedules
- Clean and sanitize mixing tanks, irrigation lines, and reservoirs to ensure cleanliness and prevent contamination
- Assist with inventory management of nutrients, supplements, and irrigation supplies
- Support environmental control systems, including sensor checks and data logging
- Follow all safety protocols, sanitation standards, and compliance procedures (state
- and internal SOPs)
- Work closely with cultivation staff to ensure healthy, uniform growth throughout all stages of plant development
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cannabis cultivation, greenhouse production, or relate agriculture preferred
- Understanding of plant nutrition, fertigation systems, and irrigation principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow procedures and schedules
- Familiarity with pH, EC, and water quality testing
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in humid or warm environments
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the cannabis industry (per state regulations)
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Dosatron or Netafim fertigation systems
- Knowledge of cannabis plant growth cycles and nutrient requirements
- Familiarity with data tracking software or cultivation management platforms
