Job Title: Warehouse Manager
FLSA Status: Salary – Exempt/Fulltime

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Warehouse Manager. This key position will be based in our Houston, TX location.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading their teams to deliver safety, quality, service, and performance objectives while developing people. This includes both establishing processes that deliver sustainable business results in these areas and leading a team of associates to deliver the desired results. Warehouse Manager will collaborate with their peers on activities supporting operations goals and objectives for the site, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting key objectives for the business.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Manages entire warehouse including operations, people, safety, continuous improvements, budget, labor, and other duties as assigned per President.
2. Enforce and promote safe working practices in warehouse.
3. Collaborates with Warehouse Manager and COO to establish, communicate, and execute measurable operations and people goals that deliver uncompromised safety, quality, service, and performance results.
4. Develop and monitor operations plan and schedule, coordinate labor planning to meet all customers’ demand on time.
5. Track and analyze operation efficiency measures.
6. Lead process improvement and initiate change.
7. Develop and execute inventory control plans and maintain inventory accuracy for all accounts.
8. Maintain effective communication with all levels of the organization.
9. Participates in one-on-one coaching, team meetings, and interacts on the floor in a positive and inspirational manner.
10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the business.
Qualifications
Technical:
· Windows Operating System
·Strong computer knowledge/proficiency (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Business:
·High School Diploma or GED - REQUIRED
·Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or a related field - PREFERRED
·Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Logistics/Freight Forwarding/Supply Chain/Third Party Logistics/Inventory Control (this role is for an experienced professional, not entry level)
·Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience working as Supervisor/Manager in a warehouse environment for a supply chain or freight forwarding company leading a team (this role is for an experienced professional, not entry level)
·Thorough understanding of ocean shipment documentation process, - A PLUS
·Possess excellent data entry skills and customer service skills with the ability to grasp extensive knowledge whole dealing with a variety of people
·Demonstrated critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks, and identifying alternative solutions or approaches
·Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
·Ability to multi-task and work independently
·Time Management skills
Human Relations:
·Self-motivated, with an ability to self-manage
·Strong interpersonal/communication skills
·Spanish speaker – A PLUS, but not required
