Must Haves:
• 3+ years of experience in data science or related field, with a focus on predictive/prescriptive modeling, and statistical analysis
• Advanced skills in SQL, statistical methods and techniques to address business needs.
• Experience building data models with machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python for predictive analytics.
• Any cloud platform experience (preferably GCP)

Job Description:
A large retail employer in Katy, Tx. is looking for a Sr. Data Scientist to join their data science team alongside 5-6 other data scientists. The Sr. Data Scientist will be responsible for designing, building, and validating predictive models to support various business functions such as sales forecasting, customer segmentation, and propensity scoring models. This person must be able to lead project lifecycles from problem conception to delivery, encompassing metric development, data manipulation, visualization, and analytical/model implementation. They will perform in-depth analyses of customer data to reveal insights and identify opportunities for enhancing the customer experience across all touchpoints (Online, App, In-store, Media, etc.) This person much collaborate closely with stakeholders from marketing, omnichannel, pricing, merchandising, real estate, and executive teams to derive insights and formulate recommendations. This person must report onsite to their Katy, Tx. location 5 days/week (Mon-Thurs 8-5 and 8-12 Fri). The salary pay for this role dependent upon experience and would be between $90-125k annually.
