Job Summary:
The Packaging Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products for distribution. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and consistency of our products.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage packaging machinery to ensure efficient production.
- Inspect packaged products to ensure conformance to specifications and eliminate faulty product handling.
- Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, and temperatures, and amounts, dimensions, and flow of materials or ingredients.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as required to maintain product quality and packaging efficiency.
- Perform regular maintenance on packaging machines to ensure optimum work order.
- Resolve equipment malfunctions utilizing basic troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Document production and operational data on specified forms.
- Stock and sort products for packaging and filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies.
- Assist in the product changeover process on the production line.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas to comply with health and safety regulations.
