We are looking for a motivated Social Media Manager to join our growing team!
JOB PURPOSE
To build and grow OMI's consumer brand, Fresh Wave, by developing and executing strategic social content that engages audiences, strengthens brand identity, and drives awareness. This role manages daily social media operations and content creation to support marketing goals and connect authentically with our community.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand objectives.
- Ideate and create compelling, on-brand content (graphics, videos, copy) for various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
- Capture and produce engaging content, including behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, and promotional material, in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Manage daily social media operations, including posting, scheduling, and responding to audience interactions.
- Grow and engage our online community by actively monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and initiating conversations to strengthen brand loyalty.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, and product development teams to support integrated campaigns, new product launches, and promotional efforts.
- Analyze performance metrics, track KPIs, and optimize content strategies based on data insights.
- Stay up to date with trends in social media, digital marketing, and the CPG industry to innovate content strategies.
- Work with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify our reach.
- Monitor brand mentions and sentiment, leveraging social listening tools.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

- Demonstrated success creating engaging content and building/growing an audience on either a personal or brand social media page.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably in the CPG industry.
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills (photo and video editing skills are a plus).
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later) and analytics tools.
- Experience with influencer marketing and collaborations.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for branding, digital engagement, and consumer trends.

- OMI Industries manufactures odor eliminating solutions. Chemical exposure to raw materials including plant oils, fragrances, and other materials will occur.
- This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required Tuesday through Thursday.
- The role is primarily sedentary, involving long periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 10 lbs (e.g., laptops, marketing materials).
- The position is based in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
