We are MyLabels, a growing brand specializing in personalized stickers and stamps for kids. As we set up our new U.S. printing facility in Dallas, we’re looking for a hands-on Printing Production Manager to shape and guide local operations from the ground up.

Base Salary & Start Date
- Base Salary: USD 60,000–80,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus - total potential ~USD 100k+
- Start Date: Mid-March - Mid April (flexible for the right candidate).
Position Summary
In this hands-on role, you will establish, organize, and oversee daily printing and production of our personalized labels. You’ll lead an initial team of three (including yourself), with staff expansion expected during peak seasons (July–September).
Essential Functions & Duties
- Build & Oversee Production:
- Create efficient workflows, maintain quality standards, and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
- Directly coordinate staffing needs, especially for seasonal demand spikes.
- Technical & Process Compliance:
- Implement and monitor production processes to meet product quality requirements.
- Troubleshoot printing or operational issues to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor production staff.
- Foster a positive work environment focused on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Inventory & Forecast Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and order supplies.
- Forecast seasonal spikes and plan production schedules to meet demand.
- Hands-On Production:
- Operate printers, finishing equipment, and related machinery as needed.
- Step in wherever necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, reduce waste, and boost efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and production best practices.
Non-Essential Functions & Duties
- Support New Equipment & Processes:
- Assist with choosing and validating new machinery or software to optimize production.
- Additional Duties:
- Assist with special projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Management Responsibilities
- Supervision:
- Oversee a team of operators and associates, handling performance reviews, attendance, and staff development.
- Scheduling & Coordination:
- Plan and maintain production schedules.
- Coordinate with founders and other departments to align production with overall business goals.
- Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
- Lightweight Orders
- We primarily produce stickers and stamps, so there is no heavy lifting required.
- Standard safety protocols apply; specialized gear is usually not needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s a plus).
- Experience:
- 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a printing or manufacturing environment.
- 3–5 years of hands-on production experience (printing background strongly preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
- Proficiency with scheduling, inventory management, and process improvement.
- Comfortable using basic office and production software/tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with digital printing equipment or techniques.
- Proven success in scaling operations for seasonal or high-volume demand.
- Experience in leading people and building teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
