Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule Package Handlers and Leads to maintain quality, safety, and efficiency in assigned facility areas.
- Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, provide feedback, address issues, and enforce discipline to ensure team effectiveness.
- Determine staffing needs according to business conditions and hire qualified candidates to meet identified staffing needs.
- Foster engagement through communication, motivation strategies, and pre-sort meetings to align employees with goals and safety priorities.
- Track line-haul times, trailer percentages, and package flow to ensure accurate loading and on-time departures per SOPs.
- Execute various administrative duties, including but not limited to, safety training, operational audits, and end of shift reporting.
- Enforce safety policies, ensure proper procedures, and provide necessary materials for safe and efficient operations. Assist with the sort process as appropriate.
Qualifications - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. College degree preferred. 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience and 2 years of industry experience. Strong Microsoft Office and administrative skills highly preferred.
Pay range and compensation package - Pay: $40,350 - $64,900 depending on experience.
Shift: Wednesday - Saturday from 2:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Hours subject to change depending on the needs of the experience.
