We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our Friends and Community Team. A high-impact part of the business with strategic importance in our 2025 ambitions. This role will support delivery and team effectiveness while championing alignment, operational excellence, and agile ways of working. You’ll partner closely with Team Leads, Product & Engineering and stakeholders across the business to ensure the team is set up for success and strategic initiatives move forward with clarity and pace.
What You'll Do- Drive Delivery & Operational Excellence
• Lead execution of complex, cross-functional programs by creating clear plans, surfacing risks early, and keeping teams focused on high-impact outcomes.• Strengthen coordination across stakeholders, establish planning cadences, and ensure transparency around progress, blockers, and timelines.• Champion minimal viable processes that support team efficiency without unnecessary overhead.
- Enable Strategic Alignment
• Partner with leadership to translate vision into executable plans, ensuring priorities, capacity, and cross-functional dependencies are aligned.• Identify and resolve organizational challenges that may impact delivery, and support the evolution of scalable ways of working.
- Champion Agility & Continuous Improvement
• Embed agile values and adaptive practices across teams, supporting iterative planning and collaborative delivery.• Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and psychological safety, where feedback and “good failure” drive innovation.
- Build Consistency & Best Practice
• Develop and implement playbooks, templates, and shared tools to create consistency across teams while leaving room for flexibility.• Establish delivery metrics and reporting frameworks to track progress, highlight risks, and support informed decision-making.
Required Experience & Skills- 4-6+ years of experience in programme or delivery management in agile, cross-functional environments
- Proven success in delivering complex projects or programmes with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Skilled in project planning, tracking, and documentation – across tools like Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar
- Comfortable owning planning rhythms and supporting team prioritisation in high-change, fast-moving contexts
- Experienced in aligning senior leaders around roadmaps, goals, OKRs, and team delivery plans
- A calm, organised, and adaptable communicator who thrives in ambiguity and brings structure and momentum to the table
