Our client is a privately held solid waste and recycling services provider seeking an Operations Manager in the Memphis area. The Operations Manager role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day waste collection activities across commercial, roll-off, and residential service lines, including container delivery and pickup. This position manages drivers and helpers to ensure safe, efficient operations while upholding company culture and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key duties include performance monitoring, budget and safety oversight, customer service resolution, and staff development. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in waste operations—especially residential—and be skilled in safety protocols, operational planning, and team leadership. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities are essential. This position includes full benefits and salary in the $100-120k range.
