Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Fulfillment Operations for one of our Distribution Center clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing fulfillment operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing large-scale operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the fulfillment operations team to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fulfillment processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing, inventory management, and shipping.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and other external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in fulfillment operations for e-commerce operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
