QLM Search is recruiting a COO for an ambitious Beverages & Ingredients business who are looking to build on their consistent success, with a new chapter of growth, investment and improvement.
Reporting to the CEO, you as the COO / Chief Operating Officer will play a pivotal role in taking this business to its next stage of development; building upon a strong platform to unlock new levels of operational performance alongside the commercial goals.
This is a well-rounded business with a market focus complemented by its range of products and solutions across its branded goods, co-manufacturing and private label.
With their omni-channel route to market the company and expertise in execution they are very-well placed to gain a further competitive advantage, supported by consistent investment into site capability and its people.
COO key responsibilities:
- Leading, influencing and developing a team consisting of an Operations Director, Production and Warehousing Managers, Finance and Planning
- As COO you will be responsible for manufacturing, engineering, technology, S&OP and supply chain activities
- Full responsibility for the supply chain and manufacturing strategy and future CAPEX, Capacity expansion and utilization
- Driving operational excellence & lean practices and culture, to unlock greater efficiency, quality and value creation.
- Building integrated processes in supply chain by working with all functions in the Group and tracking performance through effective KPIs, budgeting and forecasting
As Chief Operating Officer you will have the ability to lead and inspire whilst leveraging a strategic & data driven approach.
Candidates must have experience of leading manufacturing and supply chain operations within Beverages / Food / Ingredients.
