Position Overview
Marli New York is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Manager to drive the growth and profitability of our online business. This role is crucial in shaping our digital storefront, ensuring it reflects our brand vision while optimizing sales, customer engagement, and overall user experience. The ideal candidate is strategic, data-driven, and has a deep understanding of e-commerce operations within a luxury retail environment.
As E-Commerce Manager, you will oversee site operations, commercial planning and performance analytics. You will also collaborate cross-functionally on inventory management, merchandising, and digital marketing execution. Your expertise will ensure a seamless, best-in-class shopping experience that strengthens our brand and maximizes conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Operations.
- Manage the site in Shopify, adapting product catalog, ensuring accurate and timely setup, updates, and pricing adjustments.
- Optimize client journeys and enhance on-site experience ensuring seamless functionality.
- Partner with internal teams—including Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations—to ensure cohesive brand presentation and smooth campaign execution.
- Develop and maintain an effective product presentation strategy that aligns with commercial goals and brand aesthetics.
- Ensure stock availability and alignment between inventory data and website offerings.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and conversion.
- Support global digital strategy implementation, providing guidelines and best practices for e-commerce, SEO, SEM, CRM, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Execute and monitor performance of email marketing campaigns, homepage animations, and online campaign initiatives.
- Manage affiliate marketing, social retargeting, and paid media campaigns to drive traffic and sales with partner agency.
- Partner with creative teams to ensure consistent brand storytelling across all digital touchpoints.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Track e-commerce KPIs, analyzing trends to inform strategy and optimize online sales.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to enhance site merchandising and commercial strategies.
- Provide actionable insights through data analytics, supporting leadership in making informed decisions.
- Work with development team to prioritize site enhancements and technical improvements.
Campaign & Promotional Execution
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including seasonal animations, product launches, and special collaborations.
- Manage site updates, ensuring alignment with global brand and commercial objectives.
- Develop marketing calendars and execute campaigns that align with financial and brand growth objectives.
- Ensure the successful execution of key product launches, working closely with merchandising and operations to secure inventory availability and smooth deliveries.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, preferably within jewelry and watches or luxury fashion industries
- MUST HAVE SHOPIFY EXPERIENCE – deep proficiency in Shopify Plus, including product management, promotions, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and digital advertising.
- Experience working with CRM tools, affiliate marketing, and retargeting campaigns.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
- Working knowledge web content management.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
