Duties
- You will serve as the Compatibility Test Facility (CTF) Logistics Manager for either Sparing or Engineering Operational Sequencing System (EOSS) in the Machinery Integration Test Facility.
- You will manage investigative, advisory, development and support for all maintenance management, operation procedures, training/qualification for system operations, material management and logistics planning that is executed at the CTF.
- You will demonstrate expertise in all areas of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to include Planned Maintenance development (PMS), EOSS, Supply Support and Storage and Configuration Management.
- You will provide expertise for the development and execution of ILS programs associated with CTF projects and programs.
- You will develop new approaches, concepts and funding management (including working with program sponsors and CTF leadership on budget management) for logistics execution and integration.
- You will define ILS requirements, monitor and administer ILS efforts for logistics elements, develop and analyze proposed ILS projects.
- You will monitor and evaluate contractor performance on both the ILS portion of prime acquisition contracts and other ILS contracts administered by the CTF program.
- You will identify problems in acquisition, logistics policy and procedures, and initiate process changes through appropriated channels on all responsible program activities.
- You will provide expertise in material management including the procurement, receipt, storage, and issuance of test site spare material.
- You will work directly with CTF financial and contracting personnel in developing and executing material procurement packages to meet test site sparing requirements.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of
specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
coordinating integrated logistics support (ILS) for engineering efforts associated with a test program. Examples of qualifying experience may include: Managing material management, logistics planning, and spare parts management for a Compatibility Test Facility (CTF); Managing investigative, advisory, development and support for all maintenance management and operational procedures; or Applying expertise in all areas of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to include Planned Maintenance development (PMS), Engineering Operational Sequencing Systems (EOSS), training and job qualifications, supply support and storage, and configuration management.
