Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations in the warehouse, ensuring production schedules are met, inventory levels are optimized, and products are shipped accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with various departments to maintain smooth operations, improve efficiency, and support LIX’s high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Warehouse Operations Oversight: Direct and manage all warehouse activities to ensure production schedules are met, product quality is maintained, and orders are fulfilled on time.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, purchase materials, and plan for future production needs. Ensure all products are in stock and ready for distribution.
• Production Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with the sales team to assess production needs and adjust schedules accordingly to meet market demand and sales forecasts.
• Operational Efficiency: Review and refine warehouse policies and procedures for improved efficiency, ensuring operations are cost-effective and streamlined.
• Order Fulfillment & Shipping: Manage the fulfillment of both large distribution orders and non-distribution wholesale customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
• Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement: Identify operational challenges and opportunities, working proactively to address issues and implement solutions.
• Communication & Collaboration: Foster strong communication between departments to ensure alignment on shifting priorities and projects. Provide support to the sales team as needed.
• Client Support: Respond to client inquiries regarding their accounts or products, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
• Team Culture & Morale: Promote a positive company culture that encourages high performance, teamwork, and morale. Lead by example to inspire your team.
• Compliance & Budget Management: Ensure that all operations adhere to legal requirements, stay within budget, and meet company standards for performance and quality.
• General Administrative Support: Assist with clerical tasks and special projects as needed to support ongoing company operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience in warehouse management, production planning, or operations
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive mindset
• Effective communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse management software is a plus
