Our reputable local client seeks a dynamic and strategic leader to head the Employee Experience, overseeing human resources functions and fostering a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in HR strategy, employee relations, and performance management, paired with strong communication and leadership skills to drive organizational growth and employee development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Align HR strategies with business goals, supporting organizational growth and change.
- Manage employee relations, resolve issues, and design engagement programs.
- Optimize performance management systems, providing training and development opportunities.
- Oversee policy development and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Lead talent acquisition, recruitment strategy, and employee onboarding processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive HR experience in structured work environments.
- 3+ years as an HR Generalist supporting hourly employees.
- Proven track record in employee relations, performance management, and compensation/benefits administration.
- Proficiency with HR systems and MS Office including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, tax regulations, and benefits programs.
- Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
This hybrid position requires an onsite presence in 3 -4 days per week in the Portland, OR area - local or relocating candidates only, please.
