Analyst, Designer UX
About the Team
At Panera, we believe that good food can bring out the best in all of us. We love the role that food plays in people’s lives, and we work hard to create interactions that elevate the experience of ordering, eating, and sharing it. We’re looking for a User Experience Designer to join our team of designers, collaborators, bakers, and craftspeople. We embrace vulnerability - we’re unafraid to make mistakes, own up to them, and do it differently next time. Healthy debate? Bring it on - we love it as much as we do hunting down the research and analytics we need to crack that next brilliant UX solution. Most importantly, we support each other, and we like working together.
About You
You do not have to love food, but you love the creative process, and collaborating with cross-functional partners. As a User Experience Designer, you’ll be part of a team that’s been recognized by Fast Company as one of the most innovative in the world. You approach problem-solving accounting for the full customer journey and are involved in every aspect of the design process across all our e-commerce properties: web, mobile apps, and digital experiences in retail spaces. You’ll go to the field (both online and in-person) to observe and test customers, you’ll brainstorm innovations, and you’ll craft elegant user flows and beautiful, intuitive, thoughtful interactions. You have a strong command of systems-based design strategy, with experience contributing to a design system and developing documentation. You balance function with form, demonstrating experience with UI and visual design–owning all steps in the product design life-cycle.
