About the Role:
As an Operations Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for improving onsite management, training staff, and ensuring smooth operations across student housing communities. Whether you're stepping in to support short-staffed properties, guiding leasing teams, or developing training resources, your expertise will help create exceptional living experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Property Management & Onsite Support
- Assist Community Managers with leasing team oversight, training, and compliance with company standards.
- Support leasing consultants in securing rentals while ensuring Fair Housing guidelines are met.
- Facilitate and lead training sessions on platforms such as Leap, Foxen, PetScreening, Conservice, EZ Turn, and IRIO.
- Step in as acting Community Manager when needed.
- Prepare and reconcile month-end reports, track accounts receivable, and maintain operational records.
- Organize presentations, team-building activities, and icebreakers.
- Act as a liaison between vendors and onsite teams.
- Assist with audits, leasing applications, move-ins/outs, and other operational tasks.
🔹 Training & Development
- Serve as a resource for property staff, answering questions about corporate policies and procedures.
- Conduct ongoing training for all onsite positions to ensure excellence in service and operations.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for in-person and virtual training.
- Assist in planning and executing turn processes, including reporting, training, and communication.
🔹 Financial & Operational Oversight
- Monitor operating budgets, variance reports, and occupancy trends.
- Support property teams with administrative actions, including lease expiration tracking and delinquent account management.
- Ensure all properties maintain high standards of efficiency, customer service, and compliance.

Travel Requirements:
- Based in Dallas, TX but must be open to extensive travel (50%-75%).
