The Role and Responsibilities
At EnerMech we have a new vacancy for a Logistics Manager, to be based in Houston, Texas. This role will report to the Head of Integrated Supply Chain and Asset Management with a primary focus on managing the transport, logistics, and storage of our equipment globally plus managing customer service (3PL, Logistics), warehousing, and transportation service agreements.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Drive supply chain analysis and reporting (inventory, bottlenecks, Project Supply Chain Reports (PSRs))
- Track inventory deployment; receive, store, track, and distribute goods and equipment
- Monitor and report on global inventory location and levels and improve inventory turns
- Plan and manage all aspects of procurement, storage, maintenance, and transport of the enterprises' fleet of equipment
- Manage ethics and risk mapping based on geographic footprint of operations
- Report on EnerMech assets in compliance with the Asset Management process
The Requirements
We are looking for someone who has related experience working in the energy / oil & gas industry plus international import export experience of company equipment. You will have a keen eye for trade compliance. As the Logistics Manager you will be someone that is able to effectively navigate challenges and embrace them with resilience, remaining flexible and solution focused. You will also be someone who works effectively and co-operatively with others. You will understand and analyse financial information effectively, enabling informed decision making.
