What You Will Be Doing
As a Logistics Professional – Items Analyst, Associate in Marietta, GA, you will play a crucial role in material planning and logistics for AMMM Material Modification Kits. You will collaborate with Kit Management, MRP Planning, and Manufacturing Operations to ensure the accuracy and availability of material kits, helping to maintain seamless production and modification processes. Your responsibilities will include managing Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, troubleshooting discrepancies, overseeing kit transfers, and supporting kit updates in SAP. With a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, you will proactively address material shortages and process improvements, ensuring efficiency across the supply chain. This role is ideal for a highly organized, analytical, and collaborative professional eager to contribute to a dynamic aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between Kit Management and MRP Planning, ensuring accurate OBOM (Order Bill of Materials) maintenance.
- Plan and process material kit requirements, coordinating with the planner of record as needed.
- Facilitate the creation and management of new material Top Kits and Sub-Kits in SAP.
- Investigate and resolve MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials) errors by cross-checking with the EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials).
- Manage and process corrections to Top Kits and Sub-Kits in SAP.
- Oversee location transfers of kits between kitting locations to ensure availability where needed.
- Track and implement kit changes and redline updates, managing cut-ins for modifications.
- Identify, anticipate, and resolve material kit shortages to prevent production delays.
- Collaborate with Technical Publications to align Kit Lists with MBOM/OBOM, reducing revision requirements

Who You Are
You are a detail-oriented and proactive logistics professional with experience in material planning, supply chain coordination, or inventory management—preferably within an aerospace or defense environment. You have a strong understanding of BOM structures (MBOM, EBOM, OBOM) and are comfortable working in SAP. Your problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate challenges help you effectively manage material requirements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure kit availability. With strong communication and collaboration skills, you thrive in a cross-functional environment, working with planners, engineers, and technical teams to drive efficiency.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $49,700 - $87,515. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
