Freemind Seattle is seeking a talented, full-time UI Designer to work a hybrid schedule from our Georgetown office.
The ideal candidate will have strong UI design skills with experience in Figma and a portfolio that demonstrates a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. This candidate should have a solid background in working with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office and a proven ability to translate complex product features into compelling visual assets and prototypes.
Candidates must be local to the Seattle, WA area to be considered.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience at Microsoft or other large tech companies.
Responsibilities
- Create marketing visual assets based on key product features, scenarios, personas and scripted interactions
- Produce high-quality supporting visuals to emphasize key product features and messages
- Collaborate with UX Designers to update and create Figma assets and prototypes
- Ensure all assets align with design guidelines and style guides
- Work in a V-Team with Subject Matter Experts, Copywriters, and Scriptwriters to support the creation of required scenario-based assets such as documents, images and other content
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency and accuracy of designs and content through the demo lifecycle
- Create high-quality demo assets by utilizing demo creation platform tools
- Other supplementary duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Proficiency in Figma, editing, and modifying UI/UX designs
- Ability to create PowerPoint presentations and templates, Outlook emails, and Word documents to a design agency level
- Ability to create compelling and effective logos, designs, and print and digital media
- Ability to create full marketing bill of materials and manage deliverable assets
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, and design skills
- Understanding of the use of effective storytelling as a marketing tool
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products: Teams, Microsoft Office, Windows
- Excellent cross-group collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines without direct supervision
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four-year college or university or commensurate experience
- 1-2 years proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- 1-2 years using Figma creating full UI/UX designs
- 1-2 years with Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- 1+ years of graphics design experience working with corporate clients in a marketing setting
- Java experience a plus but not required
- Reprise experience a plus but not required
