Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are maintained.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders to increase coordination and program effectiveness.
- Contractor & Program Support Management: Oversee contractors and program support agreements, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve project-related issues with applicants, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Program Development Support: Assist in developing and refining Program Opportunity Notices (PONs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to NYSERDA’s strategies and business processes.
- Reporting & Documentation: Support program reporting efforts by analyzing data and preparing reports as needed.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities to support the objectives of the Efficiency Planning & Engineering Team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Contract & Budget Management: Experience managing project agreements, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight.
- Strategic Market Engagement: Ability to support strategic partnerships and stakeholder coordination.
- Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to assess and enhance program rules and business processes.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective external and customer engagement.
- Independence & Teamwork: Must be a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in multifamily building energy efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis of complex data sets).
- Familiarity with IT systems such as NEIS, Salesforce, SharePoint, Buildings Portal, and Tableau.
- Education and experience commensurate with a relevant degree.
