Operations Leader to drive efficiency, streamline workflows, and scale our logistics and production processes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about innovation, optimization, and building a strong operational foundation for a fast-growing, mission-driven startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including logistics, production, inventory, and vendor management.
- Develop and refine SOPs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with finance and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Ensure operational scalability to support rapid company growth.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a
motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is eager to make a real impact. The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in operations management (logistics/manufacturing preferred; startup experience a plus).
- A proven track record of scaling operations with limited resources.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- A passion for sustainability and a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be within a commutable distance (no relocation assistance).
- Must be an early-career professional ready to take on a leadership role.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Interview Process
- Initial Phone Screen (30 mins) – Background discussion, startup culture fit, and core operations experience.
- Team Interview (1–2 hours) – Meet with founders and key department leads, discuss scaling strategies.
- Final Executive Interview (30 mins) – Conversation with a senior leader to confirm vision alignment and cultural fit.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee production scheduling, logistics coordination, and operational tasks.
- Monitor KPIs, budgets, and strategic projects.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
