Job Summary
To perform lead role in the following areas: Board Machine, Band saw, Combocade, Manual Board Machine, Drums.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate the daily production requirements
· Print, sort and distribute orders per department folders
· Print barcode and shipping labels
· Enter shift reports
· Provide and assist in training of new and current employees
· Sheet plastic traffic and sign frame products
· Assemble traffic and sign products
· Maintain quality requirements while achieving established rates
· Practice and maintain safe and effective housekeeping
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in an assembly environment
- Ability to read, follow and give directions
- Ability to be flexible with a great work ethic
- Ability to multi-tsk and mange time effectively
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Ability to Enter orders in Epicor (ERP system)
- Experience tracking employee rates/metrics
- Forklift experience is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to spend 90% of the workday walking or standing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· The ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
