The position will also have the task of performing machine setup and CNC programing. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating, setting up, and programming CNC machines and will be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Objective:
Lead and direct swing shift staff and program new parts on different types of CNC machines to meet and exceed customer's expectations and requirements. Make improvements to established programs and processes in order to increase efficiency and decrease waste.
Main Responsibilities:
- Program CNC mills (3 to 5 axis), mill-turns (10 axis), and screw machines (7 axis). Machines: RoboDrills, Mazak Integrex, Mori Seiki NT, Citizen, Tsugami, and Hyundai.
- Setup CNC mills, mill-turns, and screw machines.
- Make changes to CNC machine programs as needed.
- Improve current CNC machine processes. This includes making the program more efficient, changing the fixture to be more error proof, changing tools for better tool life, etc.
- Troubleshoot machine issues for machine operators.
- Train operators on machine processes where appropriate.
- Follow company work instructions and policies.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Efficiently run production on CNC machines.
- Perform inspections of product prior to and during production.
- Fill out required paperwork.
- Deburr product while operating machine.
Required Work Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years of programming experience.
- 5+ CAD/CAM experience. GibbsCAM experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of G&M code.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Must understand GD&T.
Shift Schedule:
We currently have one position available.
- Monday through Thursday - 3:30 pm to 2:30 am. This is a four 10-hour schedule.
