Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Graphic Designer - UX/UI at Pistola Denim in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves collaborating with the design team to create engaging graphic designs and user interfaces, contributing to the visual identity of the brand.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and behavior to design user-friendly interfaces
- Design graphic user interface elements
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
- Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments
- Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and brand consistent web experiences
- Collaborate in concept development and design ideation cross-functionally to help define a creative strategy
- Find create ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design
Qualifications
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in user interface design and wireframing
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout design
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects with attention to detail
- Minimum of 2yrs experience as a UI/UX Assistant Designer or similar role
